hi
I’m not dead. Updates: moving to Queens, heading to Vietnam, finished working since graduation at a few different studios, when back in the U.S. will be at studio again, etc. I thought that I’d have more free time to do my own artwork after graduation but I thought wrong. I haven’t forgotten the art I have to do for people— first and foremost the piece I owe my fantastic voice actress in my thesis.
Adieu, adieu. Be back soon.
YO MOTHAFUCKIN THESISSSS its so beautiful its so beautiful my god. amazing.
Thanks! Guuurrrll, where you beeeeeen!
This was done for my Z-Brush class. I really wish I had taken this class earlier, say, junior or sophomore year. Anyway, this was a great learning experience. Tossing us headfirst into a full-on sculpt assignment with some technical guidance- best teaching device ever. It was painful to work around my mistakes but I know what to do/avoid next time. I got a lot of “wai she so buff, meng,” comments. She’s a superhero. Dur.
“Finished” sculpt of the preview I posted earlier. I really wish I had the time to render this properly but duty calls.
Anyway, Kate Kane is the badass of the DCverse, tenk you.
I like the car in your thesis reminds me of a Lexus LF-A. Did you draw inspiration from any real life cars?
Thanks. And most definitely! Namely from the Audi R8, Nissan GTR, Mitsubishi Evo Lancer X, and Brabus E V12. By the way, going to kidnap your corgi, haha. I can’t wait to get one of my own!
Enjoy my blood, sweat, tears, and despair. My senior thesis.
